2932425 - How pricing date change influences new/existing condition's pricing in PO?

Symptom

When the price date is changed (on "condition control" item level tab in ME22n), the item's condition's date does not updated with that date.
The header condition takes that date over, and also if we manually input a condition to header/item, then that date is visible in the condition's details.

You might expect that if you change date in "conditions control tab", system should not change the “condition pricing date” of the pre-existent conditions (neither at the header level nor at the position level), just only update this date for new conditions created/entered.

So how the system works with price date changes?
