2933266 - Dashboard Filter Displays only the ID and not the Description

In a Dashboard Filter, you have opened the value help for a variable and selected the required value. After clicking on OK, the selection variable shows the ID of the selected value and not the Description. For example, instead of seeing the Account name and ID, you only see the Account ID.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Open the respective Dashboard
2. In the Filter area, open the value help for the respective variable (for example, Account)
3. Select a value, e.g "ABC" and select Ok (see ID and Description display in Value Help)
4. Only ID displays in Filter and not both, ID and Description

You notice that, although the value help shows the ID and the Description of the values (e.g. Account ID's and Account Description), in the Dashboard Filter, only the IDs are shown when a variable is selected.

This is the designed system behaviour. The Dashboard Filters always show the ID only after it is selected for filtering.
