2934669 - [1H 2020 PROD] -Execution Manager Process Notification for Process Definition Id: 'System Events'

You are receiving continuous error notification mails with the subject line "Execution Manager Process Notification for Process Definition Id: 'System Events' and Process Instance Id: XXXXXXXX" after the 1H 2020 release (Production).

If you click on the hyperlink of the mail body, it takes you to the Execution Manager Dashboard. But there is not much information regarding the Job. You are only seeing either of the below mentioned warnings/errors:

SAP SuccessFactors Integration Center

Along with 1H 2020 Production Release, one Business Scenario has been delivered i.e. Real-time User Account Sync from SAP SuccessFactors to SAP IPS.

Email notifications are being triggered due to the above mentioned business scenario (irrespective of the fact that the business scenario is active or not).

How to access Business Scenarios ?

1. Go to Admin Center and search for "Business Scenario" under "Tool search".
2. Now, look for business scenario "Real-time User Account Sync from SAP SuccessFactors to SAP IPS"

Work-around:

Currently, there is no workaround available to stop these email notifications.

Fix:

Our Engineering team has confirmed that this issue would be fixed via a PATCH. Current deployment date for this patch is 19th June, 2020 (during patch deployment window).

Post this patch deployment, XM logs for "System Events" would stop. Hence, these unnecessary email notifications would not be triggered either.

Also, this would not impact the Execution manager logging for your other Integration Center process.
