2935151 - Using aseuserstore key and running isql -k gets external errors - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • After setting the aseuserstore key, when trying to run isql -k <user store key> gets this error connecting to CT-LIBRARY:
    ct_con_props(): user api layer: external error: Reading information from secure store failed at SSFS_GETRECORD(DB_USER)

  • Then after running sybase.bat, then isql -k <user store key> gets error:

    Msg 4002, Level 14, State 1:
    Server '<user store key':
    Login failed.
    CT-LIBRARY error:
    ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.
