2935172 - Out of Memory in Nameserver with PROCESS_ALLOCATION_LIMIT

Symptom

  • You observe out of memory dumps on nameserver with allocation failure type: PROCESS_ALLOCATION_LIMIT;
  • Sometimes the out of memory situation can lead to crashdumps, which are not related to a program failure;
  • The out of memory may also happen during the startup of the SAP HANA system, causing a startup error like: FAIL: process hdbdaemon HDB Daemon not running;
  • The system runs with Multitenant Database Containers (MDC) mode;
