2935292 - Why some G/L accounts included in the FSV hierarchy are described as Account does not exist? - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When reviewing the FSV hierarchy, such as FSV C1ID - Indirect Cash Flow Statement for Indonesia, which is standardly delivered by SAP, some G/L accounts are listed as “G/L account * is not used or does not exist.” Upon further examination in the Manage G/L Account Master Data, these accounts are indeed absent from the master data.

1. Open SSCUI 102669 - Define Financial Statement Versions, check FSV for country Indonesia
2. Some G/L accounts described as Account does not exist. 
3. If Open SSCUI 150001 - Manage G/L Account Master Data, search for these G/L accounts, will see they are Invalid Entries.

In general, it is absolutely fine that some G/L accounts in a pre-delivered financial statement version don't exist in customer system as master data. The reason is that each customer has different scope and different set of G/L accounts can be activated, but financial statement versions are valid for all customers.  Depending upon what scope the customer has activated in S/4HANA Public Cloud system, it is possible that not all of the accounts in the FSV are available in their S4 system.

In the example FSV C1ID, check whether these G/L accounts described as Account does not exist are same as list below. The G/L accounts listed are relevant to Leasing. If the Leasing Solution Item is not installed, these G/L accounts will not be available in the system.

Accounts that are not available in the S4 system can be deleted as needed.

In the example, verify whether at least one of the following Leasing Solution Items is installed: 

ID_1T6
ID_21P
ID_21Q
ID_21R
ID_2SA
ID_2SB

If a Leasing Solution Item is not installed, these G/L accounts will not be available in the system.

If the Leasing Solution Item is not installed, these G/L accounts will not be available in the system. After activating the scope item, adjustments can be made, including adding, removing, or moving accounts within the FSV.
