2935452 - Number ranges are not updating in the P-system after the Q2P process.

Symptom

Once the Q2P process is finished for a certain change project, the configurations related to the number ranges are not reflecting in the P-system.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Customize the existing number range in Q-system.
  2. Release the change project from Q-system.
  3. Validate the same in P-system, once the change project is imported.

Cause

Only insertion of new number range is permitted for the Q2P transport.

Resolution

The changes need to be done in the P-system for the existing number ranges. 'Redo in P' is marked "Yes" for all the customizing related to the number ranges.
