2935848 - Location Field In Visits


The location field in Visits is not updated when you are changing the address in Address Selection field.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Visits workcenter.
  2. Click on + icon to create a new Visit.
  3. Select Account 123(where 123 is Account ID).
  4. The Address Selection and Location field are populated with main address of Account 123.
  5. Click on the Value help for Address Selection field and select the address other than main address.

The Location field is not updated with the address selected in Address Selection field.


Within a visit, you see the location information field from the account address data. This allows you to maintain an additional location field within a visit.This will by default take the Main Address of the Account selected for Visit.

The additional location is only applicable for that particular visit.
With the additional location information, you have the option to go to another location for a visit, in case the visit is not possible to the address maintained under account data.


This is the expected system behavior. You have the option to change the Location address manually.

The whole idea behind this field is to maintain an additional location and this is not in sync with Address Selection field.
