2936060 - Changes for a Custom Field could not be saved

• In the Fiori Launchpad Custom Fields and Logic app, when saving a change to a Custom Field, the save fails with an error similar to:
   

  Changes for field ZZ1_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx could not be saved

   
• In the SCFD_LOG, two corresponding errors can be found:
1. For Type: Metadata, the error message: An exception was raised
• Reviewing the details for the error, the last entry in the exception stack will be for Class CL_CFD_TRANSPORT_ADAPTER and Method ADD_TO_REQUEST will have an error message similar to:
   

  Could not add object to request w/o user interaction

   
2. For Type: UI Service, the error message: OData call failed
• Reviewing the details for the error, the last entry in the exception stack will be for Class CL_CFD_TRANSPORT_ADAPTER and Method ADD_TO_REQUEST will have an error message similar to:
   

  Could not add object to request w/o user interaction
