2936515 - Unable to create a job alert based on picklist search selection - Recruiting Marketing

Symptom

Candidates are unable to create a Job Alert using Picklist Search fields and not Keyword or Location as they get an error message : You must provide either a Keyword or Location, or both.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the candidate profile.
  2. Go to Options > Job Alerts
  3. Click on Create New Job Alert 
  4. Click on More options 
  5. Select any filter values 
  6. Click on Create Alert
  7. Error will appear "You must provide either a Keyword or Location, or both.


Resolution

This is the current system design, where job alerts can only be created using keyword or location field searches on the RMK site.

Note on Unified Data Model :
