2936974 - No customer information in app Display Line Items in General Ledger

Symptom

When checking G/L account line items in app 'Display Line Items in General Ledger', information about customer and customer name is missing.

Environment

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the application 'Display Line Items in General Ledger'
  2. Provide the G/L account and other filters and click Go 
  3. Add the column Customer and Customer Name
  4. Check the customer information in the line items

Cause

In the app Display Line Items in General Ledger, the customer information is present for only "one side of the journal entry ".

For the "other side", the related information gets determined as offsetting account property.

Resolution

Check column Offsetting Account and Offsetting Acct Name instead
