On December 27, 2019, the ordinance for partial revision of Enforcement on Childcare Leave, Caregiver Leave, and Other Measures for the Welfare of Workers Caring for Children or Other Family Members (Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Ordinance No.89 of 2019) was promulgated. Among the revisions made by this ordinance, hourly leave will be allowed for Childcare Leave and Nursing Care Leave.
