2937286 - Crossboarding is not being initiated - Onboarding 2.0

Symptom

The transfer event was triggered in Employee Central, however, the employee is not appearing in new hire data review.

Environment

SAP Successfactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into the application

  2. In the Search for actions or People field, enter the ID or Name of the employee whose job information you wish to modify;

  3. Access the employee profile by clicking on the search result;

  4. Go to Actions Change Job and Compensation info;

  5. Under Choose what you want to change, select Job Information or Compensation Information, as applicable;

  6. Select a date when you want the changes to take effect. Update the employee profile with information related to the new job or the associated compensation;

Make changes to the Job Information fields such that the Transfer Event is published. Click Save.
Based on the employee transfer event configuration in your system, a transfer event will be triggered.


After that you are not able to see the candidate in New Hire Data Review

Cause

One of the possible causes is that you don't have the Event Transfer rule and the manager ID set in the Admin Center > Manager Business Configuration.

Resolution

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Business Configuration;
  2. Go to the JobInfo section;
  3. Include your Event transfer rule (as onPostSave type);
  4. Include the field manager-id under the fields listed for JobInfo.
