2937533 - SUM error: Batchjob 'RSUPGJOB' with id '#######' is aborted

• During Software Update Manager (SUM) upgrade, the following error can be seen:
  

  Last error code set:
  Batchjob 'RSUPGJOB' with id '#######' is aborted

  A trouble ticket and an archive with all relevant log files have been
  generated.
  Trouble ticket: "D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SUM\abap\log\SAPup_troubleticket.log"
  Log archive: "D:\usr\sap\<SID>\SUM\abap\log\SAPup_troubleticket_logs.sar"
  
  OR
  
  Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_GENCHECKS/JOB_RSUPG_DBDIFF_PRE!
  
  Last error code set:
  Module state has been set to error but no check entry has been created!
  
  A trouble ticket and an archive with all relevant log files have been generated.

•  Go to transaction SM37, the job log for 'RSUPGJOB' shows:
