2938007 - Query on SAP HANA fails with error 468: hint error

Symptom

You are running a query on SAP HANA objects or SAP Business Warehouse Composite Providers and you get one of the following errors:

  • Query Syntax-Error: hint error: invalid hint: incorrect syntax near "{": line 1 col 52 (at pos 51) (DBMAN-099);
  • Error 468 has occurred in the BWA/SAP HANA server;
  • [468]: hint error;
  • SAP DBTech JDBC: [468]: hint error: invalid hint.
