2938654 - Error - Specify field XYZ with length XX

Business Partner replication from external system fails in SAP Cloud for Customer with error "Specify field XYZ with length XX".

1. Login to Cloud for Customer.
2. Go to Administrator workcenter.
3. Open Web-Service Message Monitoring view.
4. Find and select corresponding message which has failed with the error.
5. Check the error log.

You are replicating TaxNumber information in the payload however the tax number being sent is not correct.

In the Fine-Tuning Activity "Countries", you have enabled the "Tax Fields Check Enabled" for the corresponding Country.

1. Send the correct Tax Numbers as per the legal rules pertaining to the country.

If you do not want these legal checks

1. In the fine-tuning activity "Countries" and select the Relevant Country

2. Go to 'Tax Attributes' tab.

3. Uncheck the checkbox 'Tax Fields Check Enabled'. Should be set to false/not checked.

4. V A T Registration Number Check Rule : Keep this field blank.

5. V A T Registration Number Length : Keep this field also blank.

6. Click on 'Save'
