Symptom

  • Error 716 with a stack trace is reported in the ASE errorlog reports:

Error: 716, Severity: 16, State: 32
Unable to allocate memory of size 16384 bytes from the 'compression info' pool.
Error while undoing log row in database 'mydb'.  Rid pageid = 185947; row num = 142.
