How are the employee tiles sorted on the Succession Org Chart?

Reproducing the Issue

Navigate to the Succession Org Chart and open a hierarchy:

The display from left to right, does not appear to follow any sorting.

Note: Similar logic may be seen in the Lineage Chart and Position Tile View with the option "Disable sort by position title to improve overall performance" (Admin Center > Succession Settings) enabled.

Cause

Expected system behavior.

Resolution

The sorting for position tiles on the Succession Org Chart does not follow any order. The positions are loaded directly from the database with no defined sorting order and it is currently not possible to change this.

If having the possibility to order the display of employee tiles is important for your business requirements, please make a suggestion on the Customer Influence page to have your idea considered for inclusion in a future release.
