2939946 - How to get the employee's "personId" value

Under Biographical Information portlet on the employee's People Profile the ID value you see is actually the personIdExternal value of the employee:

So how can we confirm what is the personId value of this employee?

You can check this info using Integration Center:

1. Open Integration Center
2. Click on "My Integrations" and and then create a "Scheduled Simple File Output Integration"
   
   
   
   
3. Select PerPerson as the starting entity
4. Select the fields "personIdExternal" and "personId"
   
   
   
   
5. Click on Select button at the bottom to proceed
6. Go to "Filter and Sort" tab and select "Advanced Filters"
7. Select "Person Id" field in the filter (the one which would refer to personIdExternal) and filter out for the value we see on the "Employee ID" field in the employee's People Profile
   
   
   
   
8. Go to "Configure Fields" tab and the employee's personId will be shown
   
   

You can just cancel the integration creation afterwards, it's not required to save it since you already got the employee's personId.
