2940583 - Error Message FINS_ACDOC_CUST486 appears when defining currency settings for ledgers and company codes

Symptom

When using SSCUI 103379 - Define Currency Settings for Ledgers and Company Codes, below error message appears

"You can't edit company code &2; only change company codes of country &1.

Message no. FINS_ACDOC_CUST486"

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open SSCUI 103379 -  Define Currency Settings for Ledgers and Company Codes
  2. Tried to do the necessary configuration, e.g. moving to the Company Code Setting for the Ledger view, make the settings: assign currency type &3 to the combination of Ledger &4 and company code &2
  3. After saving, the error Message no. FINS_ACDOC_CUST486 appears.

Cause

Please check the current country version in app "Manage your solution". System ensures that you only change configuration in your SSCUI for those company codes that are part of your selected country.

Resolution

To configure settings, you have to switch your country version to the country which company code &2 belongs to.

You can switch country version as follows:

  1. - Launch app “Manage Your Solution”
  2. - Change country version by clicking “Set Country Version” on the bottom right. Choose your country in the popup.
  3. - Click “Configure Your Solution”.
