2940966 - TREX installation issue - SetupException: >>>ERROR:installsapinit.sh FAILED with rc=1280 - TREX setup cannot proceed

Symptom

When trying to install the latest TREX release (79) on a SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15, the installation fails and brings the following information in the installation log:

  • Action: Configuring SAP system TRX -- failed. 
    Exception description:
    Traceback (most recent call last):
