Q&A
Q: I would like to add other fields to be searched on People Search. Is that possible?
A: No, it´s not possible to add any other fields to be searched on the People Search. We recommend you to open an enhancement request on the Community.
Q: I can search user in the Global Search with position ID in one tenant but not the other ?
A: The only searchable keywords are the one listed in this KBA. The reason you can search the position ID is because in Manage Business Configuration -> Job Info -> Position (click details) you will see that you have a mapping under "HRIS Sync Mapping:Standard Field" for Title that result in the Title containing the position ID
