2941712 - Target Unit Grayed Out During Key Figure Creation

You are creating a key figure and you would like to set a currency conversion. In step 3 of the key figure wizard, you select the option Currency Conversion, but the field Target Unit is grayed out and you cannot set a target unit.

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics and the view Design Key Figures.
2. Click New.
3. Go through the setting in step 1 and 2.
4. In step 3, selection the conversion type Currency Conversion.

Now you see that the Target Unit field is grayed out.

The currency conversion setting in the key figure means that there will be a conversion enabled for this key figure when you use it in the report. There will be a "Display Currency" variable in the report selection; i.e. the target currency is defined on the report level, not on the key figure level.

Please complete your key figure and add it in the required report. You will see the Display Currency field in the selection. Here you can set the currency required.
