2942240 - Not able to Assign Task Observer to an Item

When I would like to add a Task Observer to an item, I am not able to do it because when I am trying to search for the item, it is not in the Search results.

In the Old Admin UI:

1. Login to LMS and click on Users tab.

2. Navigate to System Management Tools.

3. Open Assign Task Observers.

4. Try to search for the item, but it won't appear in the search results.

In the New Admin UI:

1. Login to LMS.

2. Navigate to Manage User Learning > Assign Task Observers.

3. Try to search for the item, but it won't appear in the search results.

Only those item will display in the search which has the Task Checklist Enabled at item level.

Resolution steps in the Old Admin UI:

Navigate to Learning > Search and Open the Item > Go to Tasks > Open Task Checklist Settings > Make sure that Enable Task Checklist is enabled.

Resolution steps in the New Admin UI:

Navigate to Learning activities > Items > Search and Open the Item > Go to Tasks > Open the Settings > Make sure that Enable Task Checklist is enabled.
