Symptom
The new hire has entered an email address in RCM and now you have updated this value in New Hire Data Review, however, all the emails are being sent to the old address.
Environment
SAP Successfactors Onboarding 2.0
Reproducing the Issue
- Initiate Onboarding for a canditate in RCM (who has a valid email address);
- In New Hire Data Review / Personal Data Collection update the value for email address;
- All the emails sent from Onboarding are still going to the old email address.
Cause
At moment, the application is working as designed.
Since the welcome message is already sent to the previous address after new change it does not trigger or send a new mail again. We'll consider this change in the future roadmap, timelines are not yet planned for it.
Resolution
