2943310 - Sales Kit with Batch Item Not Allowed

An error message "Sales Kit with batch item not allowed" occurs when trying to create a New Customer Return Notification from a sales order using the kit header item as a reference.

1. Go to Inbound Logistics Work Center.
2. Open New Customer Return Notification in Common Tasks.
3. Search for the Sales Order or the Outbound Delivery you wish.
4. Select the line of the kit head.
5. Choose Next, an error "Sales Kit with batch item not allowed" would appear.

During the shipping phase, the user splits the kit sub-item(s) to issue product(s) with different identified stocks. This alters the association between the kit head and its sub-items. As a result, the system does not permit the creation of Customer Return Notifications using kit heads in this situation, leading to the expected error.

To create a Customer Return Notification for a Sales Kit, please select the individual sub-items with identified stocks instead of selecting the kit head.

When you create a customer return notification, a customer return is also created for these kit sub-items. Upon opening the customer return, you may encounter an error stating "Mandatory List Price missing for the price calculation" for each item.

To resolve this error, you can manually add product prices that match the kit by following these steps:

1. Go to the Pricing Tab.
2. Choose Add Row for the first line product.
3. Select "List Price" as the Price Component.
4. Enter the appropriate amount.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 for other line products.

Then the error would be resolved.
