Symptom

  • The error: "Protocol message had too many levels of nesting. May be malicious. Use CodeInputStream.setRecursionLimit() to increase the depth limit. (INF WIS) 00000." 
    appears when refreshing a Web Intelligence document based on a BICS connection and BEx Query, or a UNX universe that uses an OLAP connection to a BEx Query or HANA View.
