Symptom

  • While activating BW reporting from ITSM from SOLMAN-SETUP, job CCMS_BI_SETUP fails with error 
    ERROR: errors while content activation occured
    ERROR: Error/warning in dict. activator, detailed log > Detail
    ERROR: The SQL statement was not executed
    ERROR: Table /BI0/ASPR_DATA00 (Error adjusting the database)
    ERROR: Table /BI0/ASPR_DATA00 could not be activated
    ERROR: Return code..............: 8
    ERROR: DDIC Object TABL /BI0/ASPR_DATA00 has not been activated
    ERROR: Error when activating DataStore Object (classic) 0SPR_DATA
    ERROR: Error/warning in dict. activator, detailed log > Detail
    ERROR: The SQL statement was not executed
    ERROR: Table /BI0/ASPR_DATA00 (Error adjusting the database)
  • Updated Solution Manager from earlier SP to 7.2 SP10 and cannot activate BW for IT Service Management

This KBA is also valid for any BW object: ERROR: Error when activating <object> 0SPRXXXXX. Just need to change the name of the object in Resolution steps
