2943620 - Invalid Format of Dashboard name Under the Dashboards tab of a Business role

You want to know why there is an entry in the assigned dashboards at business role level with an invalid name.

You want to know if a dashboard is deleted from Manage Dashboards, will it be automatically removed from the Business roles to which it was assigned.

SAP Business By Design

1. Go to Insights Work center.
2. Open Manage Dashboards.
3. Delete the dashboard which is not required anymore.
4. Now go to Application and User Management work center and Open Business Roles.
5. Double Click on the Business Role ID. Click on View All.
6. Under the Dashboards tab. You will see the list of assigned dashboards.
7. You will find an entry in the Name column with an invalid format.

When a dashboard is deleted from the Insights work center, it does not get automatically removed from the Business Roles to which the dashboard was assigned.

As an indication that the dashboard is deleted you will see the name displayed in invalid format under the assigned Dashboards.

You need to manually remove the deleted dashboard from the Assigned Dashboards. Follow the steps given below.

1. Go to Application and User Management work center and Open Business Roles.
2. Double Click on the Business Role ID. Click on View All.
3. Under the Dashboards tab. You will see the list of assigned dashboards.
4. Choose the dashboard name displayed in invalid format .
5. Click on the Remove Button.
