2943717 - Error message 'Customer Specific Price List XXX with same key YYY already exists' when releasing the Customer Specific Price List

You are trying to release a newly created Customer Specific Price List ZZZ . Error messages  'Action failed' and 'Customer Specific Price List XXX with same key YYY already exists' are triggered (XXX stands for the Customer Specific Price List which is already created and released, YYY is ID for the Customer/Account which is used in the price list XXX and ZZZ. ZZZ stands for the new Customer Specific Price List)

 SAP Business Bydesign

1. Go to the Product and Service Portfolio work centre.
2. Go to the Pricing view.
3. Navigate to the Price Lists subview.
4. Show: Customer Specific Price List.
5. Click on New button and then select Customer Specific Price List 
6. Enter the Account ID YYY and the name as ZZZ(YYY is the ID of the Account and ZZZ is the name of the price list).
7. Click on the Release button and choose Release.

Error messages 'Action failed' and ''Customer Specific Price List XXX with same key YYY already exists' are raised.

This error message is raised because you have already created and released a Customer Specific Price List for the Account ID YYY and hence it not possible to create a new price list with same Account ID with overlapping validity.

Note: Even if you change the currency to a different one in the newly created Price list it would still result in error because Account ID is same. Also if you have already created a Customer specific price list used for business partner of the company then it's not possible to create an another company specific price list using the same business partner.

This is system standard behavior and it not possible to create two Customer Specific Price List for a same Account ID with different currencies.
