2944104 - Error when sending requisition for approval stating Recruiter is a required field and must be filled despite it being filled

When Job Requisition is created and the user sets the Recruiter for example, as someone who is part of a recruiting team role, the system displays the following error message stating that the Recruiter has not been filled, even though it was:

Please correct the following error(s):

Recruiter is a required field.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

1. Go to Recruiting > Select a requisition pending your approval
2. Set Recruiter as someone who is already in a recruiting team role
3. Send Req to next step
4. See error that Recruiter is a required field even though it was already filled

• This is an expected behavior because if he/she is part of recruiting team, then they have the same access as a recruiter.
• Therefore, the system will not allow you to add them as a primary recruiter since they already have that role.
• So, you will need to remove this user from the recruiting team in order to proceed with adding them as the recruiter and sending req to next step.
