Symptom

  • CrystalReports2020ProcessingServer fails to start after upgrading to BI 4.3.
  • Servers fail with errors:-
    The executable could not be launched. Possible reasons are insufficient RAM or disk space, or an invalid filepath or working directory. Actual reason: Could not start '"<Installation Directory>\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\crproc.exe"-loggingPath "<Installation Directory>/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/logging/"-documentType CrystalEnterprise.Report -restart -name NodeName.CrystalReports2020ProcessingServer -pidfile "<Installation Directory>/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/serverpids/NodeName.CrystalReports2020ProcessingServer.pid" -fips -ns SIN2V-SBO02.travelcue.int:6400 -fg' in path '<Installation Directory>\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86'.   •  Setupengine.log shows error: Verifying presence of enterprise nodes in CMS cluster...
    Ignoring WBGMSTBIP004_ORCL because it is not present in the CMS cluster. You will need to run AddNode -update on this node manually
