2944561 - Error on creating or previewing an Offer Letter with Fingerprint - Recruiting

This article describes the behavior and recommendation when any recruiting operator is sending an offer letter and encounters an error with any of (but not limited to) the following fingerprints.

Note: In general, even if your error did not match any of the fingerprints provided, it is advisable to still make the recommended changes, especially if you got an error right after the clicking the offer creation button or preview.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting

1. Go to Recruiting → Job Requisition.
2. Open Candidate list.
3. Open the Candidate Application.
4. Go to Take Action → Offer → Offer Letter.
5. Create Offer Letter then click Next step and see an error with any of the following fingerprints provided.

Based on our server logs, the error is due to the Document attachment settings / Attachment file size / Failed to store attachment.

When sending an offer letter with or without an attachment, the system checks the configuration of the Attachment user limit and the Attachment max file size. The error prompts when any of the limits were hit. Note: Even if the offer does not have an attachment this limit can be encountered since the whole offer itself is being treated as an attachment.
