Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Recruiting > Job Requisition.
- Open Candidate list.
- Open the Candidate Application.
- Go to Take Action > Offer > Offer Letter.
- Create draft then click Next step then see the error.
Based on our server logs, the error is due to the Document attachment settings / Attachment file size / Failed to store attachment.
When sending an offer letter with or without an attachment, the system checks the configuration of the Attachment user limit and the Attachment max file size. The error prompts when any of the limits were hit. Note: Even if the offer does not have an attachment this limit can be encountered since the whole offer itself is being treated as an attachment.
Recommendation: Update the Attachment limits. Go Admin Center > Company System and Logo Settings > Document Attachment section.
Set Attachment user limit to 'No limit' and the Attachment max file size to '10M'.
