2945051 - Core Virtual Unit would not load due to missing or error loading ODBC driver

Symptom

  • Core Virtual Unit would not start
  • CEM component would not start
  • CEM logs captures ODBC 2017 errors:
    • ERR> [EXC] : ODBCConnection: (Driver)Connect failed Driver=ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server;
    • SQLDriverConnect failed (/IM003/Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126:
    • The specified module could not be found. (ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server, C:\Windows\system32\msodbcsql17.dll).)
