Symptom

Execute Settlement - For AuC (AIBU) raises error AA324 "Posting with trans.type 340 not possible (No acquisition posted)".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enter the app Execute Settlement - For AuC (AIBU).
  2. Enter the parameters of the settlement.
  3. Execute or simulate.

Cause

Check to see if all ledgers in the asset have an acquisition posted. If one or more does not have an acquisition posted, then the error will be correctly raised.

Resolution

Review the depreciation areas.
