2945499 - Fault Manager failed to locate BS runfile <ASE_NAME>_BS - SRS

Symptom

  • Fault manager (FM) reports an error in dev_sybdbfm log file.
     
    Error: sapdbctrl: Failed to locate BS runfile /sybase/ASE-16_0/install/RUN_<ASE_NAME>_BS
     
  • FM status got the below error.
     
    node 1: server host1, site Site1.
    db host status: UNKNOWN.
    db status UNKNOWN hadr status PRIMARY.
    node 2: server host2, site Site2.
    db host status: UNKNOWN.
    db status UNKNOWN hadr status STANDBY.
    replication status: UNKNOWN.
    VIPA status: ERROR.
    failover prerequisites fulfilled: NO.
     
  • Restarting Sap host agent didn't help.
