How to enable Data Retention Management Exceptions for Benefits, Advances, and Dismissal Protection

To enable Data Retention Management Exceptions for Benefits, and Advances, and Dismissal Protection login to provisioning account. For customers that do not have access to provisioning, kindly reach out to your Implementation Partner or Product Support to enable feature in provisioning.

1. Login to provisioning account and go to Company Settings > Search and enable following features
   • Enable Benefits 
   • Enable Advances
   • Enable Dismissal Protection
2. Login to instance > Admin Center > Upgrade Center
3. Search for DRTM Employee Central Benefits Management and upgrade it
4. Once the feature is upgraded, go to Role Based Permissions and add following permissions under Miscellaneous permission
   • Dismissal Protection Configuration
   • Dismissal Protection Data Retention Configuration Group
   • Dismissal Protection Type
   • Employee Dismissal Protection
   • Under Data Retention Management, add permission for DRTM Benefits Purge Objects
