2946429 - Is it possible to attach a rule in Wrapper Objects?

Symptom

There is a requirement to attach a rule in Foundation Objects and the rule has been attached to the Wrapper Object in Configure Object Definition however, it is not working.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Foundation Objects

Cause

The Wrapper Objects are used only to allow associations between the GO and FO. Rules should not be attached in Wrapper Objects.

Resolution

You must use the respective Foundation Object Base Object in the Rules, such as Pay Grade and not Pay Grade Wrapper, and attach the rule in the Corporate Data Model.
