2946675 - No Journal Entry Generated for Outbound Delivery of Project Stock Order

You have processed outbound delivery CCC(CCC represents the ID of outbound delivery) of project stock order AAA(AAA represents the ID of project stock order), however, no journal entry is generated after finishing goods and activity confirmation BBB(BBB represents the ID of goods activity confirmation).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Go to the Outbound Deliveries view. 
3. Show All Outbound Deliveries by Selection and find CCC.
4. Open delivery CCC and view the Document Flow tab.
5. You notice that no journal entry is created for goods and activity confirmation BBB.

In the project stock order scenario, there are 2 goods and activity confirmation documents created:

• When the outbound delivery is released; This will not have any postings.
• When the stock is consumed using the 'Consume' button available in the project; Here, a goods and activity confirmation with journal entry is created against the project.

You need to consume the stock in the project to post the second goods and activity confirmation:

1. Go to the Project Management work center.
2. Go to the Projects view.
3. Show All Projects and find the project relevant for project stock order AAA.
4. Press Edit. 
5. Navigate to the Products tab and Project Stock Orders subtab.
6. Select project stock order AAA and click Consume.
