2946943 - Analytical apps aren't returning any data

Symptom

When accessing analytical apps (e.g Monitor Purchase Scheduling Agreement Items, Purchasing Spend Dashboard) the app shows "Unable to retrieve data from the database" or return the error "Database returned the SQL code 719. Error txt: currency/unit conversion error" after inserting the Currency in the Display Currency filter.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access analytical apps
  2. Insert the Display Currency

Cause

The valid date for the conversion currency (e.g CYN to EUR) is in the past or the exchange rates are not maintained.

Resolution

  1. Access the app Currency Exchange Rates
  2. Find and click on the conversion that used in your system
  3. Click on Edit button and adjust the Valid From for a future date
  4. Save
