When using the feature Late Stage Application with Recruiting Management system, the recruiters can forward candidates to the default status or even add them to the requisition, also on default status. At this point, the candidates can be moved thru the pipeline but in order to complete the application process, the recruiters have the Invite Late Stage functionality that sends an email to this applicant inviting the person to apply. (See article for more details: 2081317 - Late Stage Application - Recruiting Management)
When using this process in combination with Assessment Integration and Mobile Apply enabled, at the end of the application process, the external candidates are not redirected to the vendor site to take the assessment and the integration is no triggered.
This behavior happens only for external candidates and this article will cover the cause.
In order to replicate this issue, the following features need to be enabled:
- 2081317 - Late Stage Application - Recruiting Management (Invite Late Stage Option)
- 2805333 - Enable Assessment Integration - Recruiting Management
- 2250159 - Recruiting Mobile Apply - Recruiting
SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM)
Reproducing the Issue
- Forward a candidate or application to a Job Requisition into the Default status;
- Click Invite Late Stage;
- As a candidate, click in the apply link in the received email;
- Start and finish the application process;
- At this moment, when using assessment integration, the system should redirect the applicant to the vendor site, but this does not happen;
These three features (Invite late stage + Mobile Apply + Assessment) were not designed to work together. For this reason, when you have them configured together, the system does not trigger the assessment integration when using the Invite Late Stage.
The system works correctly for internal candidates since the mobile apply view does not apply for such candidate type.
This is a system limitation that will be addressed as an enhancement. In case you need to use Assessment and Mobile Apply, as a workaround we suggest that you design a process that uses the regular Invite to apply feature. The invite to apply for works correctly and when a candidate applies thru this method, the system triggers the assessment integration correctly.
We have an internal enhancement ticket created to address this topic, but as of now, we don't have a target release date.
