2947559 - Total cost may deteriorate at the end of the VSR optimization run

Symptom

In the Optimizer Explanation Tool (accessible from transaction RCCF_LOG – see SAP note 1769077) you may observe for the entry Result > Solution Details > Progress, that the final Total Costs is larger than a preceding interim solution of the VSR run.
