2948118 - Date range for condition when creaing Scheduling Agreement

Symptom

When creating a new Scheduling Agreement with application 'Create/Change Scheduling Agreement', the default price range is from today to 9999-12-31.
And When creating with SA application 'Manage Purchase Scheduling Agreements' the default price range is the same as that of SA and cannot be changed.

Environment

  • Sourcing and Procurement
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

In application 'Create/Change Scheduling Agreement', during the creation of a new validity period, the dates(Vailid From and Valid To) are defaulted based on the configuration maintained for the main condition type.

In application, Manage Scheduling Agreement, only the basic condition handling is supported(Maintenance of validity periods with single base condition and supplementary conditions) and the dates are defaulted based on the document validity dates. In the application change of validity period is not supported but user can create a new validity period and the existing one will get adjusted.

Resolution

This is the current standard behavior of the application.
