2948193 - Missing File Server connection in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & SAP Digital Boardroom

Symptom

After creating a connection based on a File Server it cannot be found when building a new Model or Story through selecting get data from a data-source.

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2020.15.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new model
  2. Click on get data from a data-source
  3. Observe that the file server connection is not visible

Cause

Despite being created as a connection the File Server is not selected from 'Get data from a datasource'

Resolution

To establish a connection with the File Server select the second option 'Import a file from your computer' and then on the pop up window under the option 'Choose File From' select File Server and then choose the connection.
