2948495 - Not able to calculate date field in calculated column – Canvas Report

• Not able to use date functions in calculated column using a date field.
• Not able to change the date format using a calculated column.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• Report – Canvas
• Detailed Report
• Advanced Report

1. Create/Edit any canvas report;
2. Using the calculated column feature try to perform a date calculation in a field which has date records;
3. Realize that there is no date functions available.

The selected field which is storing date records is not set as a date field.

In order to the date functions  be available in the calculated columns, the field used to be calculated should be set as a date field.

If the field not date field and it is string for example, the functions will not be available by expected behavior.
