Symptom

Under certain situation, the IP address of the target HANA DB (HDB) was changed. It could be because system moved to a new environment or a new IP address was assigned to the system.

  • In HANA Cockpit, it shows old IP address, however, the administrator is still able to access to the target HDB.
  • Why the target HDB is still accessible with old IP address and how to change HANA Cockpit to display the newly assigned IP address.
