2948837 - Candidate Search does not return candidates with User criteria - Recruiting Management

When searching for a candidate profile using candidate search by information contained in the Employee Profile no candidates return.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Check the Employee Profile, notice that the background information is there
2. Go to Recruiting -> Candidates;
3. Search by the same background information;
4. No candidates return.

This is because the Candidate search pulls the values from employee profile for standard fields.

The candidate search will return a search when the values match that of the employee profile, regardless of the value in the Candidate Profile.

To avoid different values in candidate profile and employee profile causing confusion with inconsistent data please use sm-mapping on matching fields in the Employee Profile and Candidate Profile.
