While migrating inspection plans to an S/4HANA Cloud system via migration object: QM- Inspection Plan, error message CV701: 'External number assignment is not possible for group XXX' occurs.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Cause
The value of field 'Group' in migration template is out of scope of inspection plan's external number range
Resolution
In a standard S/4HANA Cloud system, the external number range for inspection plans are:
- 50000000 ~ 59999999
- AAAAAAAA ~ ZZZZZZZZ
Please make sure the value of field 'Group' entered in migration template is in the scope of the external number range mentioned above.
