2949511 - Returning consignment stock to vendors in S/4 HANA Cloud

While trying to return consignment stock to vendors below error occurs;

Return with SD delivery not possible for consignment items
Message no. ME640

Try to create a return PO with the item category "K" and this error stops the PO creation.

The message ME 640 is set up as an error message in the system.

Changing the message category to "warning" solves the problem. This can be achieved by a non standard expert configuration. Please contact your Product Expert or Customer Success Manager to initiate this non standard expert configuration process.
