2949584 - "ERROR: No hashes found in given path" when try to upgrade HANA

Symptom

Following error messages are shown during the upgrade:

  • ERR : Installation of SAP HANA Database System failed.
  • No hashes found in given path; $condition$=newHashes.size() > 0
  • Ignoring LST file '/<path>/SAP_HANA_DATABASE/server/XXX.lst'. Hash of LST file not found in SMF file '/<path>/SAP_HANA_DATABASE/SIGNATURE.SMF'
